Year 6 School Trip to Ramsgate Tunnels

 

We would like to remind you about the year 6 trip to the Ramsgate Tunnels! This visit ties in perfectly with our World War II topic this term and will be a great way for the children to

learn about history in a hands-on and engaging way.

What you need to know:

When:

- Tuesday 14th January 2025- Royal Class

- Wednesday 15th January 2025- Brompton Class

We’ll leave school at 9:00 am and return before the end of the school day, so your child can be picked up or walk home as usual.

What to wear:

Please make sure your child wears their school uniform, including a jumper or cardigan, and comfortable shoes for walking.

 

Lunch:

You will need to send your child with a packed lunch. If your child receives Free School Meals and you’d like the school kitchen to provide one, please let the office know by Friday 10th January 2025. Your child can also bring an extra drink (a bottle is better than a carton).

 

The cost of the trip is £6.50 per child, and payments can be made through the ParentMail app. If you need any help with this, just pop into the office. This trip does not have to be paid until next term.

We’re sure this will be an exciting day out for the children, and we can’t wait to explore the Ramsgate Tunnels with them!
