If you are a parent, the website has everything you will need to know from dates to uniform rules. If you are a visitor, then please take a look at our class pages and galleries to see the lovely work that goes on in Green Park every day. If you are an inspector, then you are also welcome (but please remember to look at our data page, because we are very proud of the progress our children make).
Green Park is a relatively new school, opening fully in 2008; it was formed from the amalgamation of the Powell and Melbourne Schools.
Recently, Green Park has reached out to begin supporting other schools, both in Dover and across Kent and has also formed a collaboration, known as the Dover Collaboration of Schools, with Charlton CE Primary, St Richard RC Primary and Langdon Primary Schools.
The most important message for our school is summed up in our motto:
From tiny footsteps to giant leaps, laughing and learning all the way.
School should be fun. It should be lively and it should be a place where children and adults grow into amazing people through mutual support and challenge.
I hope you enjoy your visit.
What a great day of sporting success for our brilliant children. The girls football team finished runners up at the McCarthy cup tournament and our Panathlon team finished as winners of the Kent Panathlon! https://t.co/GtOjfWH2l4
Tickets are now available via ParentMail for the Year 1 Nativity on Tuesday 5th December. There will be two performances, 9.30am and 2pm. Parents will be able to buy 2 tickets per child in the first instance. An email will be sent out if there are spare tickets.
Kind regards.
The school will be having their Christmas Lunch day on Wednesday 6th December 2023.
Sadly, due to the number of children who will be having lunch, it’s not possible to host parents this year. I hope you understand and will be able to join us for one of the many other Christmas events.
If your child receives a free school meal, there’s nothing to do. If you normally pay for school meals, or your child would like a meal but does not receive free meals, you will need to book a meal via your usual Caterlink account. If you do not have a Caterlink account, please contact the office by emailing lindsey.kinnon@greenpark.kent.sch.uk for help. There must be money in your child's account on the day.
Please contact the office to book your child in for a dinner. Meals must be booked by Tuesday 28th November 2023.
Come along and join us on Thursday 7th December 2023 at 3:30 - 4:00 pm in the hall. We are looking forward to it and see you there!
The school are looking for donations of raffle prizes for our Carol Concert which is being held on 8th December. The concert will start at 2pm and finish at 3pm. Gates open at 1.30pm.
If you have any donation we would be very grateful if you could drop them off at the school office.
Thank you for your continued support.
