Royal Class’ Something Day: Term 2
Today (Tuesday 10th December 2019) Royal class had their Something Day and for that they hosted a Christmas Tea Party. Suzana and Imi introduced the elderly people – from Laureston House and the children’s grandparents – to their buddies. When they sat down, the elderly people were offered tea or coffee and a mince pie. Then, when everyone was there we started to colour in some baubles. Next, our class performed their wonderful recorders. They played two songs: Hot Cross Buns and Mary Had a Little Lamb. After that, we all played bingo. Suzana and Imi read the numbers and words our and quite a few people won. Then, we carried on with the paper baubles before swapping them with our elderly buddy. The children in our class put the baubles they received on the Christmas tree in the hall. After that, we pulled crackers and everyone had a great time telling their jokes and wearing their crowns. Finally, we sang them We Wish You A Merry Christmas and we all said goodbye to each other. All of the visitors had a fantastic time with Royal class and they didn’t want to leave. All of Royal class were elated to know that they had helped people in their community whilst also having a brilliant time themselves.
