A Festive Term 2 in Year 6!
What a term it has been for Year 6! From Arctic adventures to dazzling lights on stage, we've had a truly magical time.
Our learning journey began with the icy wonders of the Arctic and Antarctic. The children wrote animal fact files, newspaper articles about climate change, and even composed beautiful poems. In science, we explored how animals and plants adapt to their environments, sparking curiosity about evolution and survival.
Maths was full of great challenges as we mastered fractions, decimals, and percentages, wrapping it all up with festive problem-solving tasks.
December was full of sparkle and cheer. We ventured to the theatre to watch The Railway Children and laughed along at the Pantomime. Our Christmas Craft Day was a whirlwind of glitter and glue, and the Christmas Concert was the perfect way to celebrate our hard work and talents this term.
As we head into the holidays, we’re so proud of everything Year 6 has achieved. A big thank you to everyone at home for your continued support—it truly makes a difference!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
