Term 3 Reflections- Year Four Adventures
In term Three, Year Four had a busy and exciting time! The children kicked off the term with a fun trip to Betteshanger where they worked on team-building skills and practiced orienteering. Their topic for the term was ‘Interconnected World,’ where they became geographers, exploring local travel connections and learning about North and South America.
In PE Kensington class wrapped up their swimming lessons, while Regents focused on gymnastics. In art, the children got creative as sculptors, working with clay to bring their ideas to life!
They also had a fantastic Cultural Day, where they celebrated the diversity in their year group. This was carried out through an engaging show and tell. Later in the day, the children delved further into Jamaican culture. They explored aspects like music, food, traditions and history, giving the children a chance to really connect with and appreciate the diversity, within their class. It was a fun and informative day that celebrated the variety of cultures in their year group.
On the last day of term, the year four pupils has an absolute blast at the Friendship Disco! It was a session filled with music, dancing and non-stop fun. The children were all excited to let loose and show off their best dance moves.
