Year 4 Term 3: Our Interconnected World

This term in Year 4, we have been learning all about our Interconnected World. We have discovered how people, places and environments are linked together in many different ways. It has been a busy and exciting term full of new experiences!

Forest School Fun

Year 4 have absolutely loved taking part in Forest School this term. We have enjoyed exploring the outdoors, building shelters, working as a team and learning new skills in nature. It has been fantastic to see everyone grow in confidence and resilience while learning outside the classroom.

Swimming Success – Kensington Class

Kensington class have now completed their three terms of swimming. It has been wonderful to see how much progress they have made. From building water confidence to improving their strokes and stamina, they should all feel very proud of themselves!

Dance Experiments – Regents Class

Regents class have been busy experimenting as dancers this term. They have explored different movements, worked creatively in groups and performed some fantastic routines. We have been so impressed with their enthusiasm and teamwork.

Inspiring Art

In art, the children have created sculptures of a person who inspires them. They loved experimenting with clay, learning how to shape, mould and add detail to their creations. The finished sculptures show great creativity and care.

Times Tables Practice

We are very proud of how much the children have improved with their times tables this term. They have been working hard and making good progress. Please continue practising at home, as this will help them feel confident and ready for their Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) in June.

Friendship Disco

To finish off a fantastic term, all the children enjoyed our Friendship Disco. There was lots of dancing, laughter and big smiles all around. It was a wonderful way to celebrate friendship and have fun together.

We are so proud of everything Year 4 have achieved this term and are looking forward to even more exciting learning next term!
